Returning from war, the ambitious king and true knight finds that a son has been born to him. But Vincent – as he´s called – is completely different from the king´s idea of what a royal prince should be like. While the king prefers solving everything in fight, with a sword in his hand, Vincent is peace-loving, likes arts and literature. The father tries to shower the son with advice about how to become a true knight, and with this intention and in order to keep an eye on him joins Vincent on a tour in the wide world in search for experience. On the way they confront an evil sorcerer, expose to danger the realm of fairies and have to make up for their mistake. And of course, they set free a beautiful princess. In the end the king grasps that not everything can be solved by sword, and Vincent realizes that it is necessary to fight against evil. His rightful reward is the love of the beautiful princess - and a half of kingdom to go with it.
